Candle

candle

rest in shades of dappled gray
inside the sound of flapping sails
and warmed by dragon fire

move in dreams along the fray
blow through tempest ,storm and gale
touch steel and brick and spire

rise in light but not to stay
look for signs and find the dimlit trail
to leave the day’s dark mire

      • I used to play ‘Rune Quest’ with a bunch of friends and we ran the game for about 12 years before they discovered girls! LoL!!!

Now the Games Master is a father of two wonderful kids, Darren the most hopeless knight ever has a son called Jago and a business – hard to believe given his fantasy world state of mind, but people ALWAYS surprise us in one way or another…

        God Bless!
