From the plane the surface of the ocean looks black
                      Frozen  
                                                  and cold
The black mass appears to harbor all the energy of the world.
Begging in whale songs and heart beats for just one man
just one woman
to parachute down on to it.
So it might feel the warmth of possibility
in the melted place where a living being would lay and look up at the white lines crisscrossing the darkened skies above.

Just one man floating down silently in the cold air of night
