Long shadows

With the smell of poached eggs in its wake,Β  the morning flew out the window
Hungry for pancakes to fry and a sun full of oranges
A longitude away
Some new shadows of circles
Across the face of the earth
Rising from a skillet
Into the sky

  2. haha oranges, pancakes, and poached eggs~~~ what a nice breakfast~~~!
amazing that you can even tell new shadows… you must be spending some time in observing them haha~~~
    the smell of breakfast
    and the smell of sunshine
and the smell of another day

  3. oh by the way why the shadows are long? do you get up too early?
then my poems shall be titled by short shadows. or no shadows.

    • yeah I get up “too early” but I dont stay up all night like some people πŸ™‚

my wife gets up at the obscene hour of 4:30am to exercise monday – friday

your poems can be called long shadows / night approaches πŸ™‚
