Time falls through the cracks

The wasted time falls through the cracks of aΒ  dry and dusty land
It finds its way down into the earth
At the appointed time it comes forth in geysers and volcanoes
People mill about and gawk as the wasted time rises and falls down on their heads
It soaks in their skin
It runs in their blood
The minute hand wobbles
The hour hand falls
Through the cracks in the ground
