Every night
Your moth face catches the flickering light
Your bat ears soak in every sound
The wind in your mind becomes full of radiant wing dust so slippery
It lets reason and creativity slide over your radar unnoticed
Until you become just one little green blip
In the same position on every rotation
Exactly 300 inches from a 42″ flat screen
Surely there must be more to it all
So you check the radar again
As if there was a chance
One little green blip
Proof positive
There is nothing more

      Yes it is!
My brother watches more TV in a week than I do in a year.
I kept my children away from that flickering screen and have been glad for it.

      Thanks

In the old televisions there was some kind of moth dust right behind the glass.
I know because Jeff Woods shot a hole in ours circa
      1974.
