Chase away the dinosaurs
Forget every war
Put  what’s left
In black ink on flowering stationary
Make everyone shake hands
And speak five languages
Skip the awkward and sad parts
Now take that and make an animated flip book
Now take that and start a fire
Put a stick in until its charred
Draw your best antelope on a cave wall

    Thanks so much Maron!
I love the real cave drawings.

  5. So you’re saying we can’t start over, or even want to? That the bad comes with the good? What if the good turns out to be bad? I love this poem – it makes me think and it’s delivered in such delicious wrapping.
