Waiting on the tangent

The repetition of days
And the chorus of night songs
Leave us guessing
As we complete the daily circle

What is it that breaks
Falls
        and
                crumbles
Can there ever be a new light
In the sky
Surely there will be two moons tonight
A smaller sun in summer
A new song
To drown out the frogs and crickets
To change our minds like bed sheets

I am glad you like it.
I think a lot of people are watching the sky in case of two moons.
      I know I am.
