The magic staircase

The magic staircase stumbles by
Like a tornado
So wobbly
only pirates and thrillseekers
Dare to climb
Their pale knuckles cling the rail
They sling vomit and curses across the darkening sky
They return with stray dog eyes
Gold dust stuck to their skin
they are ravenous
Unable to tell
Bound by oaths under threats of death

  3. I like the way you’ve aligned it to the RHS, it adds to the drama, the sense of wild, pirate-y danger.
