the song of all tomorrows

on top at last

and so close to the sun

up here the air is fresh and clear

all can see what you have done

the song of all tomorrows

is ringing in your ears

but there are bridges in the score

all the horns fall to the floor

falling like wet feathers

awakening all your fears

the song of all tomorrows

is ringing in your ears

  5. Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I LOVE that Elton John song and I always thought H.P. stood for High Priced demands. It makes sense except for why he capitalized it and put periods after each letter.
    Your poem is quite lovely.

  6. Your voice is what everyone wants in a best friend. Your writing is like an observer who is almost invisible from sensitivity.
