Laluna Cacciatore

All the days are scattered
In shotgun patterns
Across the gray side of the moon

Bottomless pits of birthdays and banquets
Along with all the long dreary ones that never seem to end
Dust falls forever down their somber shafts

The man on the moon walks like a zombie
Tripping over ballgames and anniversaries
Dropping green cheese into
doctors appointments and oil changes
